How it works
A fair hire, start to finish, in a single week.
Four disciplines carry the whole process: anonymous shortlisting, scorecards before discussion, a response deadline at every stage, and a Hiring Receipt at the end.
A fair hire in a week does not mean rushing the decision. It means removing the avoidable delays: vague criteria, unstructured discussion, late candidate replies, and unclear reporting. Plumb keeps the hire moving through four controls that are visible from the start.
Anonymous shortlisting
Reviewers shortlist from structured answers before they see names, contact details, photos, addresses, education details, or dates. The aim is simple: judge the evidence before identity cues can shape the conversation.
Scorecards before discussion
The scorecard is set before applications are reviewed. Panellists score independently before they discuss candidates, so the first confident voice in the room does not become the panel view.
A response deadline at every stage
Candidates should not have to chase to know where they stand. Plumb sets a response deadline on every stage — seven days at most of them, fourteen once a candidate is shortlisted — and surfaces overdue decisions before silence becomes the process.
The Hiring Receipt
When the role closes, Plumb produces a public Hiring Receipt. It records how the hire was run: applicant count, time to hire, rubric, SLA performance, feedback delivery, opt-outs, and suppressed demographic aggregates where available.
Start with the role you need to fill next; Plumb will keep the process in order.
